South Side Bar & Grill - Helen, Ga.

Going to Helen, Ga. anytime soon????? Be sure to visit the South Side Bar and Grill it is a rocking little place!!! We had a great time and met some very nice folks, one of which was this little beauty below. Her name is Jennifer and she took great care of us and helped us have a memorable visit to the mountains. Thanks Jennifer!!!

Hey Folks, we recently went to the Cherokee Survivors and Thunder in the Smokies Rally, picture this, we were rolling into town after putting away the luggage in the chalet and were getting pretty damn hungry. We stopped at the Salty Dog and J. Arthur's and a couple more restaurants only to find they had stopped serving food at around 9pm to 9:30pm. This got us a little hot under the collar but we drove on and on until we ran up on a place called "Smackers" in Maggie Valley, boy were we lucky to find such a pearl. The food was awesome and the drinks were great too. Nice friendly waitresses and bartenders made it all a very delightful find!!!!

Go by and see them if ever in Maggie Valley or Cherokee, it will be one of the best parts of your trip to these mountain towns!!! Big Daddy 9-12-2004 P.S. Be sure and tell Jeff that Big Daddy sent you!!!
